Although 2003 has been a difficult year for the airline industry overall, CY Catering Services have experienced a 6,5% increase in production, with a production level of over 2,2 million meals. To compliment this, the productivity level has risen by 6%, while the number of permanent and seasonal staff has been reduced by 4% and 6% respectively.
Furthermore, CY Catering Services have fully implemented the Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points System, (HACCP), an advanced hygiene system that provides the most efficient preventative approach and monitors all stages of production storage and distribution.

In April 2004 CY Catering Services acquired a new customer as it reached an agreement with PULKOVO Airlines. CY Catering Services is now the caterer for PULKOVO Airlines in Cyprus, providing catering for crew, club and economy classes.

In an effort to provide an enhanced product for their customers British Airways and CY Catering Services have designed a new variety of menus for all BA summer 2004 flights.
